MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETING

Present:	Robert Brierley (chaired the meeting), Eleanor Stephenson, Chris Walta,

1. OPENING
	Robert chaired the meeting.

2. BUSINESS OF THE MEETING
2.1 	FOBC WEBSITE. 
	Could the site be updated please Jim?

2.2 	BIRD SIGHTINGS AND FROG SONGS
	Rufus Fantail was sighted

2.3 NEWSLETTER AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
	Eleanor to arrange the details to have the Newsletter printed and distributed including the 
announcement of the AGM.
AGM scheduled for April 3 at Robert Brierley's home at 3 Nicholsdale Rd at 4.00pm

2.4 CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY
	19 people participated. Some more names were collected that could be followed up about 
future involvement. 
	 
2.5 PRESENTATION ABOUT FOBC
	Robert is making a presentation to the scout group in Glen Iris on 15th of May about 
FOBC.
	Eleanor discussed the possibility of using a FOBC PowerPoint through her contact at 
Care Grammar School.

2.6 ROTARY INVOLVEMENT
	Robert heard from Cathy Macmillan that the group is interested to continue involvement. 
They are looking at the possibility of a seat for the area.

2.7 NOTICE BOARD
	Heinz to be followed up about the status of previous requests.

2.8	FALLEN TREES 
	Council will remove fallen trees and branched that fell during recent stormy weather.

2.9	GRANT 
	Robert to check with Bob about the $4000 grant from Melbourne Water. He had 
information that it was transferred electronically to the Bendigo Bank. The grant is 
allocated to the planting of the Board Walk area over 2 years. 

2.10 TREASURERS REPORT
	None tabled.
