3. BUSINESS OF THE
MEETING - ELECTION OF COMMITTEE
 - All members of the
2005 FOBC committee will continue in their roles on the committee

4. OTHER BUSINESS
 - A roster for door
knocking the neighbourhood to raise membership was proposed. Bob
Strickland has a list of previous supporters to assist in identifying who
has a history of support. This has been prompted by a fall in membership.
- Membership
subscriptions will now be $5 for an individual, $10 for a household.
- Bob Stensholt
informed us that the State has a Volunteers programme which may assist us
to develop a pool of people who would be interested to contribute to
weeding, planting and mulching work at the regular working bees. $5000 is
available to fund such things as pamphlets, tools and equipment for
activities, which may include training days, plant and bird
identification. Information is at his office.
- He also informed
us he has a political intern researching and proposing future catchment
management strategies, leisure and sports issues. She may contact us for
     information.
- Feedback to Bob
Stensholt’s office regarding Melbourne Water grants has been positive.
- Eleanor was
thanked for her great work on the funding raising activity for the FOBC.
She informed the group that the birds are not so active, and was disturbed
to hear from Robert that bellbirds have been observed in Camberwell.
