3. BUSINESS OF THE MEETING - ELECTION
OF COMMITTEE
- All members of the
2006 FOBC committee will continue in their roles on the committee
4. OTHER BUSINESS
- Bob Stensholt suggested
Bendigo Bank may be interested in giving us sponsorship. Bob Strickland
to get application forms from Bob's office. Maybe Bendigo Bank could
be approached to sponsor three Hamilton tree planters.
- Hartwell PS is to be
approached to become involved in work on the area south of Cornell Street.
There is a possibility of a sub-group of FOBC who will work on areas
to the south of Cornell Street. Further general community discussion
is needed regards this area.
- In preparation for
National Tree Day - the last Sunday in July:
- Barry G suggested 50mm
of compost may be useful under the jute mat on the steeper slopes. The
trick will be how to underpin both.
- Bob Strickland is to
check whether we are still members of Greening Australia.
- More tree stakes are
to be ordered.
- Our notice board needs
to be kept up to date. Minutes of meetings to be posted there.
