1. WELCOME
Robert apologised for the failure
for advising the date of the meeting to each of those absent, and welcomed
those present.

No quorum was present, so no formal decisions were made.

4. NEWSLETTER - BACKCREEK BRIEFINGS FEBRUARY 2008
The next edition of BACKCREEK BRIEFINGS will be prepared by Robert by 24/2 ready to be distributed on the 27/2. This distribution will allow sufficient time for Clean Up Australia
(March 2), and also for the announcement
of the AGM (April 18th, 2008)
5. CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY - March 2, 2008
Things to be remembered for the day:
Robert will email Boroondara Council requesting assistance at Cornell St, and expecting approx. 40 volunteers.
Eleanor to take care of registration the day as in previous years
Arrange for McDonalds for a supply of cordial (Bob)
Check if Coles is happy to sponsor gloves for the day - there never seemed to be sufficient gloves to go around (Robert)
Malcolm's tent
would be useful on the day for the registration tent. (Bob)
6. WATTLE PARK PRIMARY - ARBOUR DAY.
Robert to request
Barrie G to provide a diagram and a list of plants for a Primary School
project at Back Creek.
7. MELBOURNE WATER GRANT
An application
is being prepared by Robert for a $4000 grant to continue planting.
8. FINANCES
Bob presented the STATEMENT OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES as at 31/12/2007
Bob to contact
the auditor John Spence about auditing the FOBC Financial Statements
for 2007.
9. BACK CREEK SOUTH
Twelve new members, representing FOBC-South, have sent their annual $10 membership subscription for 2008. Additional Newsletters will be required.
